in vain

I was trying to find something worth living for in my life,
I found her.
She was trying to find someone to share her sorrow,
She found me.
She found a shoulder to lean on,
I found some one who needed me.
And so our friend ship kicked on.......
She poured her sorrow in to me,
I understood her better than anyone,
I heard her voice even in the darkest hours,
and i patiently stood by her.......
Ignoring my feelings,
my emotions,
my thoughts,
my life......
I gave everything i had.

But when she needed a life partner she over looked me and chose some one else...
It didn't matter because i thought she was happy,so i was too........
Hoping one day she will come running in to my arms,understanding what she really means to me.
And so i wait......in vain.
